The Red Barn has been hosting weddings since 2007. A replica of the historic hay barn that was once on the property, The Red Barn was designed to host weddings with all of a couples’ needs in mind. Set behind a historic brick farmhouse, the venue overlooks the Links at Outlook Golf Course, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. Inside, the authentic post-and-beam architecture throughout the building is sure to enchant your guests. Other notable features include two working stone fireplaces, full service bars, fully accessible restrooms, air conditioning, an all-weather veranda, and so much more. Since we only host one wedding per day, making your special day amazing is our top priority.

Event Coordination
Our Wedding Coordinators support couples throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, they coordinate with outside vendors and ensure every detail is executed flawlessly so that couples can relax and enjoy their special day with one another, their families and guests. By the end of the wedding planning journey your coordinator just might be your new best friend.

Private Wedding Suite
Featuring a full length mirror, vanity, and a private restroom, the Wedding Suite provides a beautiful space perfect for dressing before the ceremony, touch ups throughout the evening, or just taking a quiet moment during the celebration. For couples getting married on site, champagne and a cracker and cheese board are served in the suite prior to the ceremony.
Stage House Inn
Stage House Inn & Nealley House
The Stage House Inn, our sister property, is located one mile from The Red Barn in the quaint village of South Berwick. The inn offers 20 guest rooms, including 2 suites. The inn’s on-site restaurant, Dufour, is perfect for rehearsal dinners, luncheons and/or a send off brunch. The Nealley House, a 5-bedroom historic home adjacent to the inn, is also be available for couples to reserve.

All Weather Veranda
During cocktail hour and throughout the reception, guests can enjoy sweeping views of the golf course and spectacular evening sunsets from the covered veranda. During the cooler months, patio heaters are available. From December - March, the veranda is enclosed and heated to keep guests cozy.

The Links at Outlook & Outlook Tavern
Wedding couples receive 4 complimentary golf passes to The Links at Outlook, the 18-hole, championship golf course on the property. Couples also have priority access to schedule a golf outing during their wedding weekend. The Outlook Tavern. located on-site, provides a casual option for dining or grabbing a beverage before or after the round.

We have designed our Wedding Packages to be as all-inclusive as possible. We believe there should be no guess-work when it comes to budgeting for a wedding, that’s why our pricing has no hidden fees—ever. Every Wedding Package includes: A Five Hour Reception, Catering, Onsite Event Coordinator, Private Bridal Suite, China, Flatware, Glassware, Tables and Chairs, Ivory Table Linens, Colored Napkin Options, Cake Cutting Service, Champagne Toast, Stationed Coffee and Tea, Bar Set-Up with Bartenders, Complimentary Food Tasting, and ALL taxes and gratuity. Capacity
We know weddings come in all shapes and sizes. The Red Barn can accommodate intimate gatherings as small as 75 guests and larger affairs up to 200 guests for wedding ceremony and receptions. For non-wedding events which do not require a dance floor and/or tables and chairs, the capacity is much greater. See FAQs.
Ceremonies
Multiple ceremony sites are available to couples who would like all of their wedding festivities to take place at the same location. The Wedding Garden is located on a secluded lawn with a charming gazebo and beautiful trees as backdrop options. Indoor ceremonies take place in the Grand Ballroom in front of our signature stone fireplace.
Reception
Wedding receptions begin with Cocktail Hour which is hosted on ballroom-length covered veranda overlooking the golf course as well as in the expansive Foyer. Following Cocktail Hour, the Grand Ballroom welcomes guests for dinner, dancing and other reception festivities. As one couple stated in their recent review, “It’s one wow factor after another!”
Cuisine
Each of our Wedding Packages include a variety of hors d’oeuvre, entree, and side options. For an elevated guest experience, we recommend a sit-down plated meal, however we do offer a buffet option upon request. All catering is done in house except for dessert which is provided by an outside baker. Couples can find our baker recommendations and other Vendor We Love here.

Our Properties
Once a working farm, The Outlook Farm property is now home to The Red Barn, the Links at Outlook Golf Course and the Outlook Tavern. With weddings, events, golf tournaments, and live music on the Tavern patio during the warmer months, there is never dull moment or lack of smiling visitors here!
Just a mile away in the quaint village of South Berwick, Maine, our newer sister properties, The Stage House Inn and The Nealley House, provide unique accommodations for you and your guests with suites designed for wedding preparation. Dufour, the award-winning restaurant on site at the inn, offers an upscale yet casual dining experience perfect a rehearsal dining event, welcome reception, and/or farewell brunch during the wedding weekend.
