Kendyll & Andrew | May 13, 2018
Kendyll and Andrew met on the high school golf team in their freshman year, however romance didn't blossom until their senior year (mostly because Andrew was too scared to talk to Kendyll). How fitting for them to get married years later on a golf course. Their relationship then survived Kendyll moving to Boston for college, her summer internships, Andrew joining the US Air Force, 5 months of training in Texas, and eventually a 6 month deployment 6500 miles away. Somewhere in between all of that, Andrew popped the question in front of a Tyrannosaurus Rex at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. The rest, is natural history.
Kendyll and Andrew celebrated their love at the Red Barn on May 13, 2018. However, that wasn't always the plan. They originally planned on getting married a whole year later, in May of 2019, but had to move their date due to a military deployment. Even though they went from having over eighteen months to plan to less than six, Kendyll, Andrew, and their families handled this unexpected hiccup in their plans with such positive attitudes. The week of their wedding not only did Kendyll and Andrew move, but Kendyll also celebrated her graduation from college, and Andrew was preparing for another military deployment. As if wedding planning isn't stressful enough! Despite all of this, their wedding day was filled with nothing but smiles, laughs, and love. Congratulations Kendyll and Andrew on your happily ever after!
"The Red Barn and staff are simply amazing, they accommodated a date change of my wedding a full year earlier than originally scheduled when we found out that my husband was getting shipped out, they were there every step of the way for a young bride who was extremely busy out of state finishing her last semester of college, and the weekend of they could not have been more accommodating, even responding to texts at 8pm during a missing cufflinks crisis. They coordinated with vendors in a professional and organized manner. Everything in my wedding went smoothly, from my first look, to the delicious food, to my last dance, and it went that way because of our wonderful coordinator Alli. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Not only all of this, but the venue is incredibly beautiful and classy."
